I was born and raised in a little town 30 miles north of Boise, called Emmett, Idaho. Due to much turmoil in my life I began attending the Church of the Nazarene in Emmett. I gave my life to Jesus in 1976 and I found myself on a journey to wholeness. I met Ed Nichols at the Church of the Nazarene and we became friends. We married in 1978 and moved to Nampa, Idaho and began preparation for full time ministry. We both felt called to full-time ministry, but we decided to have Ed get his education first and I would do mine later. I worked in the business office and bookstore at the college and helped put Ed through school. We have 4 grown children who married awesome mates and we have been blessed with 3 grandchildren. I am currently taking the course of study in ministry to become an ordained minister
Our church is reaching out in our community through Love I.N.C (gift closet and Over Counter Med's).,In joint effort with the church to reach out, I joined Kiwanis and I am on the Faith in Action Advisory board. Our banner that we have says.." Reaching Newberg for Jesus" and this is our mission. We are to equip believers in Jesus to reach, rescue and restore our world. May we all join together to make an impact in lives of people.
